    Confessions of a fit girl…

I was never someone who thought that she would ever be rocking her natural hair. I always thought my natural hair texture was “nappy”. I always thought it would be something cool to do if I had “good hair” but since I didn’t consider my own hair to be “good”, I thought I would always […]

Working out can be your reality!

My fitness journey started back in 2002 when I joined a gym to lose some weight I’d gained over the years of working long shifts, eating pizza, and drinking Pepsi everyday.  It wasn’t until I changed gym locations about 2 years later I realized what I was doing wrong and what I needed to do in order to make […]

The Divine Hostess prepares an individual frittata

I could eat eggs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner…so when I saw this recipe on The Divine Hostess, I just had to share it with my readers!  Very reminiscent of quiche, a frittata is an Italian dish made with (often) fried beaten eggs, resembling a Spanish omelet.  I have created something similar using meat and veggies […]

Preparing the ingredients and cooking the pasta took less than a half hour. Ingredients: 1lb of chard (I used the […]
