I’m adding this to “healthy eating” but I know most will turn their nose up, thinking, “that ain’t healthy food”. However, it’s all about portion control to me. I come prepared to eat a little and then put the same amount in my Tupperware containers. Yes. I travel with containers. 😉
Plus I continue to workout even through the holiday season…
Fooooooodddd!! My family loves to eat and they’re good cooks!! We started the holiday with an eve of Christmas Eve dinner by my stepdad.
Then it was on to Granny and Pop-Pop’s on Christmas Eve.
Now lets talk about this drink…
Granny made it and its: 1 1/4 cups of can of cranberry juice cocktail concentrate, 1 1/4 cups tequila, 1 cup canned jellied cranberry sauce, 10 tbsp fresh lime juice, 6 tbsp orange liqueur, 7 cups of ice cubes.
Talk about tasty!!!
On to the gifts. We open on Christmas Eve since everybody is grown around here. 🙂 My dog got a gift from his “cousin”, Mr. Gatsby. Yeah. The dogs exchange gifts.
Granny got her laptop. I’m sure there will be a Facebook post or twenty about this one (regarding her questions, comments, and suggestions:))…
Other pics from Christmas Eve dinner at Granny’s!
My grandad was fussing because granny was taking too long to open her gift. Lol
I’m still the baby on this side, so I get money!
I’m blessed enough to have two families! So on Christmas Day, I volunteered at the region’s largest homeless shelter with my siblings, dad, and uncle, then ate at their house later that evening.
Ohhh how I wish the holidays came around more often. 🙂
I hope your holiday season was as enjoyable as mine! Tell me about it!

Christmas is love in action. Every time we love, every time we give, it’s Christmas.
