In the fourth season of Sunday Best on BET, the talent pool grew larger and the abilities of the contestants was even better than before. In the final three spots were Amber Bullock, Andrea Helms, and Michael Pugh. Throughout the show, host Kirk Franklin joked that he needed a man to win seeing as there have been three women vocalists as Sunday Best thus far. But of the three, Michael Pugh was the first to go.

The season finale which featured a star-studded cast of Shirley Ceasar, Kim Burrell, Yolanda Adams, and Lecrae was full of emotions from singers Amber and Andrea. As I sat on the edge of my seat, at times in tears from their God given talent, I was elated to hear that a hometown, Midwest girl won the title of Sunday Best. The sultry, and at times jazzy tones from Amber Bullock make you want to come back for more.
