By the time this post goes live, I’ll have ordered my second box. I enjoyed the first set of selections so much that I am keeping it going at least one more month. *I was not paid to give this review…I purchased this item with my own money and these are my honest thoughts* I […]

Holiday Fun Times
I’m adding this to “healthy eating” but I know most will turn their nose up, thinking, “that ain’t healthy food”. However, it’s all about portion control to me. I come prepared to eat a little and then put the same amount in my Tupperware containers. Yes. I travel with containers. 😉 Plus I continue to […]

Working out can be your reality!
My fitness journey started back in 2002 when I joined a gym to lose some weight I’d gained over the years of working long shifts, eating pizza, and drinking Pepsi everyday. It wasn’t until I changed gym locations about 2 years later I realized what I was doing wrong and what I needed to do in order to make […]
The Divine Hostess prepares an individual frittata
I could eat eggs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner…so when I saw this recipe on The Divine Hostess, I just had to share it with my readers! Very reminiscent of quiche, a frittata is an Italian dish made with (often) fried beaten eggs, resembling a Spanish omelet. I have created something similar using meat and veggies […]

Healthy Eating – Creamy Chard Pasta
This was my first time cooking with chard…and talk about simple! I find it to be similar to greens and spinach. Chard can be eaten raw in salads or cooked for 2-3 minutes as the following recipe. Preparing the ingredients and cooking the pasta took less than a half hour. Ingredients: 1lb of chard (I used the […]
