Hey beautiful people! My name is Alisha, and I’m a 2nd year Social Work student working on my Masters degree in Community Organizing. I was born, raised, and currently live in Harlem, NYC. I have a strong passion for working with the youth and believe that they have the innate abilities to be effective change agents within our larger society. I have been consistently natural since 2010 and I have been loving every minute of this journey! The patience and creativity that I try to encompass on this journey is synonymous to the patience and creativity that I try to practice in my everyday livelihood. I love to travel, run, exercise, sing, read, shop, dance, hang with friends, family, loved ones, and attend all sorts of artsy and fun-filled events to soothe my free spirit.

More recently I have started to experiment with hair styles, so I do not have YouTube site with tutorials (yet), but I do post pictures of my hairstyles on my Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter pages. I am always willing to answer questions about what has worked for me on my natural hair journey thus far, but always remind all of the beautiful naturalistas out there to remain patient and continually love your hair and the process!
